Thank you for stopping by. Where do I start.... I have been fortunate to work in the area of well-being and mental health for some time. It wasn’t my original plan to work in this field, I kind of wanted to go save the world like many people, but I wasn’t sure what that looked like but Alhamdulillah Allah swt picked a very beautiful path for me. I definitely have days where this work is very tough, but the ‘wins’ that you get on the good days, are life enhancing. I work with some wonderful people and to offer help in a small way, to make someone’s life better is a blessing.

I come from a fairly biggish family, Ma Shaa Allah lots of brothers (which means lots of football, boxing and cricket in the house!), nieces and nephews (lots of sarcasm and bantor in the house!) and my parents Alhamdulillah are with us too which I am very grateful for (lots of protection in having them so close by). I think throughout the last few years I am learning the value of finding goodness in the dark times and also to never judge a book by its cover. We all carry a unique story and it is beautiful one, even if everyone doesn’t really understand it at the time. I also value time and space for laughter and relief. Life can be too serious sometimes. I am a big fan of comedies, going on walks, ice-cream!, spending time with good people, giving time to my Creator and having a chance to build on that. I am not a perfect Muslim, but on a journey that I want to In Shaa Allah keep improving on that with whoever I end up sharing the next part of my life with.

What I Am Looking For
In Shaa Allah someone who would like to help make a difference in the world, in whatever shape/form that looks like. I hope to find a person who values family and making time for them and realising there are so many blessings for us when we do.

I don’t mind whatever profession someone is in, or whatever their education is, being in the world and finding your purpose looks different to different people. A soul that is trying to improve their relationship with Allah swt would be something I would like. Everyone has their own spiritual journey, but in marriage their is a shared one and being supportive in improving one’s deen can make a big difference. I am open to different cultures, race, background etc.

I guess we all want someone with a good heart and someone who can be a loyal friend/protector/an aid in this mad world. Aww and someone who can make me laugh would be a bonus!
